One of the lesser know activities available in Cappadocia is a surreal hike which takes place only once a month: at the full moon night.
The Moonlight Cappadocia is a quaint thing that aims at connecting people with the magical nature of the region. It a short but sweet hike through the Rose Valley with a stopover at the Church with a Cross and a 20-minute classical music concert at the Church with Columns. If you are looking for an usual experience to remember, but you’re not into extreme things, this one is for you.

20:30-21:00 meeting in Goreme
21:00-21:15 transfer to Cavusin
21:30-22:30 Rose Valley hike
22:30-22:45 stopver at the Church with a Cross
22:45-23:00 hike to the Chruch with Columns
23:00-23:20 concert and drinks at the Church with Columns
23:25-24:00 Red Valley hike
24:00 transfer to Goreme
Some things that you need to know beforehand:
There are no more than 40 participants.
All the participants should be at least 18 years of age. Any underage participants should be accompanied by a legal guardian.
The hike can be cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions, in which case you be notified at least 2 hours ahead of time and given a full refund.
It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and have a small bag, a bottle of water, a jacket and a flashlight with you.
