Starting from 2018, paragliding flights became possible in Cappadocia. They take place mostly at sunrise and sunset. You can actually plan both a hot air balloon flight and a paragliding flight for the same morning as the latter carry on until about 10 am.

You can go paragliding in Cappadocia even if you don’t have any previous experience with this amazing air sport. It’s possible because you will fly in tandem with a certified pilot who will control and direct the parachute while you will be enjoying the view.

The wing used for the flights is 42 m2, and before the flight you will be securely harnessed to your pilot. After the take-off you will rise up to 550-850 meters and stay in the air for 10-20 minutes. You have plenty of time to spot all the highlights of Cappadocia, such as Goreme, Uchisar rock castle, Zelve open air museum and the Monks Valley with its giant fairy chimneys.

Your pilot will also take pictures and videos of you in the air, so you will have some great shots from Cappadocia to show everyone when you’re back home. All in all, it’s a fantastic, adrenaline-filled experience that you will never forget.
